What a fantastic weekend we had for the Pittwater Artists Trail Open Studios on 25 and 26 July.

It was so lovely to open my studio and welcome so many new and familiar faces over the weekend. Thank you to everyone who made their way along the Trail and stopped by to say hello, have a look around and see what I’ve been working on.

I had lots of new artworks on display and really enjoyed having the opportunity to share my work and chat with so many of you over the weekend.

Opening the studio

One of the things I love about the Pittwater Artists Trail is that it gives people a glimpse inside the spaces where we work.

My studio is very much a working space – a place where ideas develop, materials are explored and new artworks slowly take shape. Opening the doors gives me the chance to share a little more of that process and to talk about my work, the materials I use and the stories behind it.

It was wonderful to see so many people making their way along the Trail, visiting the different studios and discovering the work being created here on the Northern Beaches.

The Irish Heart competition

In the lead up to the Open Studio weekend I ran a competition to win one of my Irish Heart wall hangings.

The response was fantastic. Thank you to everyone who entered and for all the lovely comments I received about the Irish Heart.

And to everyone who visited my studio over the Pittwater Artists Trail weekend – thank you. I loved meeting so many new people, catching up with familiar faces and sharing my work with you.

I’m already looking forward to opening my studio doors again for the next Pittwater Artists Trail.

21 & 22 November

10am – 4pm

I hope to see you there.
