Copper

As a modern day artist I love working with copper to create outdoor sculptures. Copper is one of the most malleable metals you can work with. The reflective nature and warmth of the copper colour in the sun is mesmerising to the eye. Over time, copper develops a unique patina that adds character to the sculpture. This natural oxidation process enhance the visual appeal of the sculpture, creating a distinctive and evolving aesthetic as it takes on a blue, green patina.
